Herbal remedies and essential oils have long been the focus of interest and use by many. Distillates such as mint, rosewater, chicory, milk thistle, ziziphora, lavender, Dracocephalum, fennel, orange blossom are among the favorites of Iranians.
The unique properties of various plant waters and distillates in the treatment and prevention of certain diseases, as well as the maintenance of the health of the various organs of the body, have led to numerous individuals purchasing them.
Every year many Iranian cities that have a long history of supplying herbal remedies host different tourists and people from different parts of Iran and the world. Nowadays tourists visit these cities to buy different types of hydrosols and herbal distillates to benefit from their properties.
Rosewater:
Rosewater is one of the most fragrant and popular herbs in the country and especially for tourists. Rose water is a distillate that comes from a particular flower called Mohammadi flower. In Iran, this herbal sweat is used in ice cream, tea and pastry making.
Rosewater is introduced as the booster of the heart and stomach and pulmonary system and nervous, anti-sputum, headache reliever, anti-depressant, anti-arthritis, anti-tuberculosis and antimicrobial agents.
The best type of rose is found in Kashan. Every year, during the rose season, many tourists visit this city and its surrounding cities. It is noteworthy that in addition to rose water, other herbal waters are produced in this area.
Mint :

In Iran, this plant grows in the low slopes of Alborz, Qazvin-Rasht Road, around Rudbar, around Tehran and Karaj, in Azerbaijan, Gilan, Khorasan, and many other places.
Milk thistle:
Milk thistle is a herbal medicine that is useful in the treatment of liver disorders and to neutralize toxic fungal poisonings. The substances in the thistle plant have anti-cancer properties and are effective in preventing and treating many cancers. Other properties of the thistle may include lowering blood cholesterol and boosting immunity. Milk thistle grows in northern Iran, western Iran, Lorestan, Khuzestan and Fars.
