• Blood tests:

• MRI:

In this test, strong magnetic currents and radio waves are used to produce accurate images of the body’s organs.

MRI reveals injuries and nerve damage, indicating the loss of myelin from MS in the brain and spinal cord.

However, these types of injuries are also seen under other conditions, such as lupus or Lyme disease, so the presence of such lesions does not indicate a definite involvement of MS.

During MRI, the person lies on a stimulus table and enters a large tubular device that produces a loud sound similar to the sound of tap during a scan. Most tests take at least 1 hour.

Although this test is completely painless, it gives some people the feeling of “fear of being in a closed compartment”.

They also use injections of colored material into the vein to identify active lesions.

In this case, the doctor will be able to diagnose the disease in the active phase, even if no signs of the disease appear.

• Stimulus tests:

This type of test measures the electrical signals sent by the brain in response to stimulation.

In this test, visual stimulation or electrical stimulation is used in such a way that short electrical currents are given to the person’s arm or legs.
